"Steve, Josh and I head for the hills."

                                   mid-30's ford...beautiful!

                                                oh-oh....

                                  the house is coming along.

                                              no stairs yet

The first floor deck will be a happening place someday, but the 2nd floor deck will be heaven.

Whiskey Creek, calmly meandering down from Central California's Sierra Nevada mountain range to the San Joaquin Valley...here at about 3650 feet.

                                    utility pole mystery color

                                         Candace & Dennis

Candace recently turned a $20 yard sale vintage outboard motor into a lamp, very sweet.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw her type tray filled with miniatures, many which were identical to my collecting tastes, I had the same clamp in the same place on my tray! I filled one up years ago with many of the very same objects and I'm wondering if she and I have been living in parallel universes... spooky.

                                    "the camp store"...amazing.

I'm a sucker for vintage house trailers.

a very unique idea for covering the plain gray fuse-box door.

Candace and her very special back-yard hideaway with treasures in every nook & cranny...a virtual vintage playhouse for this little girl.

Candace's father's childhood overalls, an ultimate collectible.

Peanuts...the very cool companion to neighbors Bill & Sharon

Lunching at the Buckhorn in North Fork

probably a 'breakfast special', from the looks of the regular crowd

Guns over the bar is always an attention grabber.

                                           Josh and friends

'designated driver' Josh...we head home to the valley
