"Otto"

 Meet "little Otto".  Upon viewing this blog of the little bird and it's home, my excellent friends Leonice & Annie, who are avid bird lovers, tell me they are quite sure little Otto is a 'Barn Swallow'.  He's Nicole and Curtis's new front porch friend.  He's waiting for his parents to come home with lunch and to give him flying lessons.  Otto's brothers and sisters aren't around anymore because Otto was the favorite.

                          This is Otto's nest which was constructed by his parents with mud pellets collected in their beaks and lined with grasses, feathers, algae or other soft materials.

        Nicole and Curtis's new doormat below Otto's nest, and a good reason for porch-lights.
