This is a new blog chapter devoted to sights one might see anywhere in America today, not exclusive to a particular region...personal views that suggest to me a sort of breakdown of logic, sense, and purpose in this country of my birth. I will never claim sides, yet simply display what I see and say what I think.
Want to get rich quick? Put a 'public storage' business on a piece of scrub land anywhere in America.
Thanks to the ever-growing American divorce rate, transitory job-market, booming consumerism despite indications it would be wise to begin stashing cash, and clever marketing by the folks who know most of you are sitting fuzzy-eyed in front of your ad-soaked boob-tubes and personal devices day and night, these storage facilities are popping up everywhere.
Uhh, except for maybe the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. State Department, the Pentagon, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Marines, the U.S. Air Force, etc., etc.???
I'd be interested to know how many members of this congregation are related to, know of, or are part of the 14.6 million United States Federal employee work-force...the very same U.S. Government whose Internal Revenue Service's "section 501(c)(3)" of the U.S. Revenue code provides tax exempt status to them and their church.
