"My excellent belated Birthday Treat from Coley & Curtis"

Christopher's choice:  We walked over to the always delicious SanSai on NW 21st Avenue for sushi, and I was so hungry I forgot to photograph the 'beginning', but here's Curtis with the beautiful 'ending', a solitary Edamame bean!

   We then walked home for a 15-minute rest before dessert, where Nicole fell prey to my booby-trap prone IKEA trick chair which even gobbles me up a couple of times a day when I incorrectly dismount.

 

We finally skipped around the corner to the rabidly popular Caffe D'arte for gelatto...Nicole had a regular two-scooper of Hazelnut & Sweet Cream, Curtis ordered his favorite double-scoop of Chocolate Chip under a double shot of espresso, and I had a grande three-scooper of Toasted Almond, Amaretto, and Pistachio....it doesn't get any better than it did this afternoon, thank you Coley and Curtis...Love you guys.
